Sophia is one of the names for the Wisdom of God
"Happy is the one who finds Wisdom.... Her ways are ways of pleasantness, and all her paths are peace. She is a tree of life to those who lay hold of her; those who hold her fast are called happy" (Proverbs 3:13, 17-18).
**Our church has been incorporated as a non-profit religious organization for many years. We are also registered as a church with ICCC https://iccc-churches.org
We have some changes: our office is closed due to COVID but we meet via ZOOM and phone by appointment so call us please.

Also we have separated our Sufi services into its own church activity as a Sufi Healing Center, named after our newest mentor, the Sufi Saint Lalla Ded
The Church of Holy Sophia in Practice encompases several forms of spiritual activities. We do hold regular religious services once a month for Sufi and Celtic Catholic. We embrace two religious orders: Order of Renunciates, and Order of Holy Wisdom, as seen under ttheir links. We offer Guided Sufi Healing Retreats in Nature. We are also practicing our own spiritual journeys. As a part of that we do many things such as volunteer work at churches, prisons, and residences for the elderly. In addition we offer private and group spiritual direction/counseling, healing energy treatments, spiritual readings with counseling, groups such as meditation, dreams, and guided imagery, classes in Reiki and other topics, and we counsel, plan, and officiate for weddings and baptisms. We are also available for funerals and memorials, and we preach and preside as visitors to other churches. Some assistance with our costs in offering these services is very welcome in the form of donations and trades.
